Poseidon Project
A catamaran-hulled robot that cleans surface pollution from calm waters.
A long-term engineering initiative building a catamaran-hulled robot that cleans surface pollution from harbors, river mouths, and marinas. It combines environmental awareness with STEAM education — covering CAD, electronics, mechanics, programming, and AI — through peer-led training and open-source sharing of all development files.
The project's goals include gamifying the cleanup experience with AI-based waste classification and scoring, expanding environmental consciousness, and giving students hands-on engineering experience on a real-world problem.
Focus areas
Catamaran platform
A twin-hulled robot built to navigate harbors, river mouths, and marinas where surface waste collects.
AI waste classification
Onboard vision sorts and scores collected waste, turning cleanup into a gamified, measurable activity.
Open STEAM training
Peer-led cadres cover CAD, electronics, mechanics, programming, and AI — all files shared open-source.
